Jacksonville BREAKING NEWS Right Now: Historic PUBLIC SCHOOL #4 Is Burning Down

I am sad to see that Jacksonville’s famous Public School #4 (aka Annie Lytle Elementary) is on fire and burning tonight. Perhaps someone was trying to stay warm inside the abandoned building, and had a fire mishap. I was fortunate enough to be able to go (sneak) inside the spooky old building approximately 15 years ago as a teenager. There were all kinds of rumors about hauntings and horrors from the school’s past.

I like this place, I like their pizza. We ate at the Riverside location in December, and used a coupon to get two 8 inch pizzas for $10. Not a bad deal, in my opinion.

I stopped in here a few days ago with my girlfriend, and made a few impulse buys, but I’m glad I did. I picked up a couple of unique old t-shirts (1 for myself and 1 for my girl) as well as a cool jacket for myself. The store is located at 817 Lomax Street in the 5 Points.
